Hand Maiden will place herbs (mixed from fall – harvest enough for every sister in circle to have a small hand full) in a caldron on the altar. The altar should be decorated in honor of Goddess Persephone. Place pomegranate juice and a small glasses for all underneath the altar.

Once again we meet to turn the wheel. It is the time of Samhain, the eighth and final spoke of the wheel. In the sacred Full Moon of our Mother let us look through the mirrored veil at the life we choose to create for our soul. In this season of Scorpio we have left the crossroads and walk our path towards the death of yet another year and celebrate the rebirth of another yet to come. We call forth Persephone, Goddess of the underworld. We seek vision of the light that She shines at the end of the Spiral Dance. In her honor we celebrate Full Moon and the season of Samhain.

Maiden

Goddess, I do not understand why Death must come and take the souls of the living? Where do they go and why can’t they come back?

High Priestess

Only through Death can Life happen. Death must be embraced by all for I am the Mystery of the Womb and the cauldron of rebirth and renewal.

Mother

Goddess I do not understand why change must come? Why must there always be shadow when there so many to nurture and tend here in the light.

High Priestess

I am of thee and you are of me, Seek within and know me and you will be free of all fear. I bring comfort and peace to those who seek the truth and the truth is the shadow is “YOU”waiting to live. Open your eyes to the journey before you and claim your place in my garden of Earthly pleasures.

Crone

I am the Queen of Transformation and the Dark of the Moon, hidden in the deepest night. I am the mystery of the Underworld and the wisdom that coils about your heart in the time of your trials. I am the soul of nature that gives form to the universe; it is I who await you at the end of the Spiral Dance. Most ancient among Goddesses, let my worship be within the heart that has truly tasted life, for behold all acts of craft and art are my pleasure and my greatest ritual is love itself. Therefore, let there be beauty in your strength, compassion in your wrath, power in your tolerance, and discipline balanced through mirth and reverence. You who seek to see me and seek to behold my true face shall know that all your searching and efforts will one day come to an end. For the mystery shall be unveiled. Look no further than within yourself in order to look into my eyes. Behold! At the end of the Spiral you shall cease to imagine and come to know.

The blood of all women past and present runs as one with the Goddess for thou art Goddess and She is thee. Claim thy life now and leave behind the old mask worn for others. As we celebrate the festival of truth let us also celebrate the truth of self.

All will cleanse their Witches Hats in the fire recharging them for the year to come.

All will take a handful of herbs from the altar and charge them for a personal spell. Dancing around the fire 3 times singing the Witches song , raise a cone of power to carry spell into the universe.

We circle round the fire to raise a cone of power to grant what we desire o so mode it be!
